Currently the 204B Delivery Supervisor in Customer Service, Robin Wilkinson began her career with the United States Postal Service eighteen years ago as a substitute. Despite the threats from her abuser to make her quit her job, Robin became a regular employee in 1997 and continued to build her career with the USPS. She hopes to continue progressing by being accepted into the USPS Associate Supervisor Program.
Ms. Wilkinson continues to share her story of overcoming an abusive relationship in hopes of helping others who are victims of domestic violence. She believes in being honest about her feelings and is proud of who she has become. Her courageous choice to speak out about her experience will help others and contribute to the fight to end domestic violence.
Through the adversity that she has overcome, Ms. Wilkinson believes her personal success is the two wonderful children she has raised, the respect she has earned from her peers, and the wonderful support she receives from her friends. Her true pride and joy in life, however, comes from her seven-month-old grandson, Hunter.
